Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the Levelised website (levelised.com) and application (app.levelised.com), operated by Levelised Pty Ltd (ABN 66 678 120 744) of Perth, Western Australia. By using the service you accept these terms.

The service

Levelised is a browser-based techno-economic modelling and optimisation tool. The free tier lets you build and solve models; a free account is required to save and download. Free-tier limits (model size, solves per day, solve time) apply and may change; we will show current limits in the app. Paid-tier features are covered by these terms once you subscribe to them; features not yet released are not covered until they are.

Your account

Sign-in is by magic link to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure. Provide accurate sign-up information; we may close accounts that provide false information or abuse the service.

Your content

Models and data you create or upload remain yours. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display them to you, and nothing more. Don't upload data you don't have the right to use, and don't upload personal information about others into model data.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to circumvent free-tier limits, probe or disrupt the service, resell access, or use automated means to create accounts or submit solves at abusive volume. We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access to protect the service.

Results are not advice

Levelised is a modelling tool. Results depend entirely on the inputs and assumptions you provide. Outputs are not financial, engineering or investment advice, and you must not rely on them as the sole basis for an investment decision. Verify material results independently.

Availability and changes

The free service is provided as-is, with no uptime commitment. We may change, limit or discontinue features. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice before removing the ability to export saved work.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect and consequential loss arising from use of the free service, and our total liability is limited to AUD 100.

Privacy

Our privacy policy forms part of these terms, including the optional marketing-consent checkbox offered at sign-up.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Western Australia.
